1520 Kent

I was in Kent about a month ago and heard "The Savage Nation" on during the afternoon. I found that to be curious because since Michael's show runs live 6-9pm EST, that means it runs here close to a full day later. Of course, being a daytimer, they'd only be able to run it live in the later spring and summer. I wonder if they change its airtime when they can stay on for most or all of it. I also heard a local break host who had a very sing-song delivery.

Savage can be heard live on WJMP when the sun allows it.

They run the 15 hour old replay from noon-3 p.m., followed by Lou Dobbs, followed by Savage live from 6-9 p.m.

Of course during the winter, all you get is the next day replay.

If I'm not mistaken, Talk Radio Networks actually re-feeds Savage from 12p-3p. Mostly it's for those affiliates that either want to counter-program Rush, or have low-power or are off-the-air when his show is fed live from 6p-8p.

The now-silent WCER/900 tried to air Savage at the noon hour a few years ago, with WHLO/640 (which aired Savage live at night at the same time) issuing a C&D to WCER as soon as they could.
