1540 KGBC

had a station running english talk on 1540 that isn’t KXEL … threw me for a loop!

Got a station liner at 857, the. an ID at 9pm.

KGBC simulcasting KSEV
 
Good catch, though I wonder if they were lingering on their day or critical hours powers/pattern. The 185 watt night signal is extremely limited, and its directional pattern does not favor fhe NW. I have no night reception of KGBC and I’m around 65 miles from the transmitter.

i here it once in alaska VERY well. far better than the meek but identifiable signal tonight
