I know this is not quite Nashville, but what format is 1550 in Clarksville doing these days? Apparently they have a CP to move to 830?

Black gospel, "The Light".

The move to 830 is an application, not yet approved. It includes a move to Goodlettsville - looks like just north of OHB and a bit east of I-65. I would imagine that application is probably mutually-exclusive with at least one elsewhere (I know an 830 station in Missouri wants to move to Memphis, for one) so the 1550=>830 move is by no means a done deal.

The application is interesting. They propose to use the Northern tower on the WPLN (1430) nightime array. The Missouri station wants to diplex on the WHBQ site in Memphis.

Thanks for the info. Any idea why they changed the calls from WCTZ?
