1560am WTOD being sold to Calvary Chapel?

Interesting... Didn't think CC was into AMs...but I guess since their CSN programming basically repeats multiple times during the day.. they'll likely just install a satellite dish at the WTOD studios and air the same programming currently on 100.7 FM.

Both of those shows will have to end up on another station Cumulus owns or they will not be on air.. Calvary will move the current 100.7 programming to 1560..

Cumulus could techincally create an HD-2 and put it on 100.7 if they wanted... This has been done in other markets.

94.5HD-2 will be rebroadcast on 100.7, thus the zone is comming back in a small form. I could see those 2 shows ending up on 1470am maybe break the simulcast for a few hours on sunday or if 1520am would get new owners, maybe there.

What will become of the Sunday morning Polka programming? Also, Will the Catholic group lose their two hour time slot on Sunday?

Noticed on the FCC site the sales agreement has been approved already. Here is the approval notice: http://licensing.fcc.gov/prod/cdbs/pubacc/Auth_Files/1335088.pdf

Also, WTOD has applied for a modification of their license: http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/app_det.pl?Application_id=1353223
Is this for non commercial/profit status of the 1560 frequiency?

I guess Sunday was supposed to be it? CSN is still broadcasting on 100.7fm. Hmm? If they dont sign on today I guess we will know or something got set back.

I see 1560am is running liners re-directing people to 1470am for Saturday and Sunday morning brokered programing. There airing there usual TRN programing this weekend. My guess is there getting ready to pull the plug here soon.
