1590-1700 What Does The high AM X-Band look like at night

Remember your city and state. Show me what you get between 1590-1700 kHz. ;)
 
1590 mostly WAKR Akron Ohio
1600 mostly WWRL New York
1610 CHHA sometimes, mostly CJWI Montreal
1620 the former WHLY from Indiana, (can't remember new calls)
1630 Local TIS from Ottawa Airport, KCJJ underneath
1640 WKSH Pewaukee Wisconsin
1650 CJRS Montreal, Sometimes Radio Disney and sometimes KCNZ Cedar Falls.
1660 WWRU New York
1670 WTDY Madison
1680 WTTM Lindenwold/Philladelphia
1690 mostly CHTO butLexington park and WVON make appearances...next week CJLO Montreal should dominate once they start testing their signal
1700 Mostly WEUP but sometimes KBGG Des Moines.

Yes, that's it..couldn't remember the calls. I should also add WPRR (the former WJNZ, WDSS) on 1680 usually underneath WTTM.

do hear coast to coast on 1630
radio musica on 1700
traffic report on 1680
1620 is a local news/talk station (in HD) out of pensacola, very weak though.

1600: See 1590
1610: TIS station from Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix
1620: Nothing
1630: Spanish, possibly XEUT Tijuana
1640: Spanish, probably KBJA Salt Lake City
1650: Spanish, possibly KBJD Denver
1660: Spanish, probably KXOL Brigham City
1670: Nothing
1680: Nothing - there used to be a Radio Disney station here, IIRC.
1690: KDDZ (Radio Disney) Denver
1700: XEFE Tecate/San Diego

1600 - KVRI (Blaine, WA, Punjabi)
1610 - A blur of TIS stations
1620 - KYIZ (Seattle, Rap)

Where do you live, Bongwater? All I pick up on 1690 is KFSG and for 1700 XEPE. No pirates. Same for 1630. I don't pick up a TIS from Mt. Vernon. I pick up some spanish from Wyoming. And yes, you did pick up KXOL on 1660.
 
1610: wideband splatter noise from KKAD
1620: more noise off of KKAD (but I have gotten KYIZ a few times as well)
1630: KDZR's one IBAC channel
1640: KDZR (Radio Disney)
1650: KDZR's other IBAC channel
1660: static (nope, I can't get KXOL here, but I can sometimes hear it at the coast)
1670: static
1680: a station broadcasting Spanish music, comes in better at 1683 than it does on 1680
1690: static
1700: static

(Remember, the mediumwave X band actually starts at 1610, not 1590........... ;o)
 
1590 - WFTH, local, 19 watts. 5 miles, but seldom comes in.
1600 - WFIS, 300 miles, 25 watts. once. WWRL occasionally
1610 - CHHA, once in a while
1620 - WTAW, 1200 miles, WDHP, 1500 miles, and a local TIS occasionally
1630 - TIS
1640 - WTNI, Biloxi, 800 miles
1650 - WHKT
1660 - WFNA and WWRU
1670 - WVVM, occasionally
1680 - WTTM usually
1690 - WPTX and WMLB
1700 - WEUV usually

To be fair, the title DOES say high am x-band..so I'd consider 1590 and 1600 to be the high AM stations

I'd like to add another to the x-band list, CJLO Montreal, 1690 AM. They just started testing their signal on Tuesday.

1690 - WVON Chicago? (heard blues music, no ID) weak
1700 - KBGG Des Moines AND maybe WJCC (two sports feeds mixing) plus KVNS Brownsville (oldies)

1590 KLFE Seattle (once picked up KLIV)
1600 mix of KVRI Blaine, WA and KOPB Eugene
1610 very very weak TIS stations, so weak I can't ID them
1620 KYIZ Seattle and probably KSMH Sacramento under
1630 KRND Fox Farm, WY (although very weak)
1640 mix of KDZR Portland and KDIA Vallejo, CA, KDZR more dominant
1650 very very weak KFOX Los Angeles
1660 KXOL Brigham City, UT (have heard them since they were oldies)
1670 KNRO Redding (a simulcast of KPIG of San Francisco), mostly weak
