1590 WRXB fading away

Might not need a new XMTR. Could be a bad coil in an ATU or a burned out section of transmission line. Remember this is lightning alley. Or a critter (aligator, rat) crawled up in there and got fried. And don't forget this area has a salty (corrosive) atmosphere. Could be something as simple as a disintegrated connection going to the tower.
Having gone to school with RR, I can tell you he can fix them right up. But charity work doesn't pay the mortgage.
 
Looks like W243AK has applied to move to the iHeart (now Vertical Bridge) tower in Palmetto, only 75 watts with a very funny directional. should send good signal into st pete, and bradenton
