1590am WWYC or is it 1560am?

WWYC is the new call for 1560, WTOD, effective 4/23.

They are still on 1560, and probably will remain there, there is a 1590 at Coldwater, Michigan and 1600 in Tiffin preventing such a change.

Oh ok, Theres 1600am in Ann Arbor as well. Thought that sounded strange. I'll have to e-mail them to correct that. So, it sounds as if WTOD calls are no more. I dont think 1560 has ever had differant calls.

It's still 1560... sounds like a webmaster screw up... with as many stations they have ... the webmaster likely got incorrect info or made a typo in updating the website.

According to Radio-Locator.com there is also now a CP to (somewhat) upgrade 1560 to 920 watts(Critical hours) nighttime power with three watts and the daytime power at 1500 watts.

....sounds as if they are to me. They have had transmitter and tower problems for several years. Is their FM translator still on in the meantime?
