I'm not sure what their line up is or when exactly they switched, although I believe it was over the weekend sometime. They are calling themselves "Springfields Talk of the Town" which I believe was their slogan before they flipped to oldies.

sad.. they were such a good radio station two years ago

Just checked on line (I'm in Los Angeles) and I'm getting some program called "Nightwatch". Sounds like some kind of police dramatization. Hope they can save the station, from all I've been reading it doesn't look good. If they are taking brokered programming maybe they can raise some cash.

I grew up with Smilin' Bob on WBLY. I also have memories of Roger Sharp on Sunday Mornings and Dick Hatfield "The Imperial Debubba". I kind of transitioned after I relocated from Dick to Frazer Smith who has a similar sense of humor. He is also now off the air except for when he does a radio spoof of the Rose Parade New Years day.

Checked in this morning and they have "Daybreak USA". Maybe they are taking shows from the USA Radio Network. They have a banner on their website saying they have news from USA.

They have been airing USA Radio Network since earlier this year. Since their talk programming is Christian oriented, it should compliment "Crossing Over with Eli Williams" quite well. Heard the changeover earlier this week. Still miss the oldies after that format was dropped in 2006,but maybe this will turn things around. The "talk of the town" slogan was used when the station was bought in 2002. (WBLY was also talk prior to the sale.) I presume Urban Light still owns the station and is weathering the storm. I must admire Eli for his ablity to hang in there..something good has to happen out of this.
