Dufferin south of Lawrence.
Just behind San Lorenzo Church. East if the church - looks like a flag pole. Sudios and offices in the house just east of church parking lot.

Isn't there supposed to be a 1660 am signing on the air soon?

Not sure about now, but at one point 1540 (CHIN AM) was testing on 1660, but then they got an FM repeater instead.<P ID="signature">______________

While 1610 continues to air spanish language programming, one has to wonder what will become of Markham Community radio, known simply as CHEV radio.

Are they still on the air?
I know they had to give up their 1610 AM licence when the Spanish station signed on, but now I can't even gain access to their website:

Here's the CHEV radio history:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHEV_(AM) <---- note: sometimes the bracket at the end of (AM) does not want to work.
To make this link work properly, make sure the ) at the end is included, and not absent.
