1630am is coming to Ocean County

From the Feb. 15 Beach Haven Times
(condensed from the origional article which I couldn't find online)

HARVEY CEDARS - For the first time, a radio station will be broadcasting from Long Beach Island offering listeners up-to-date and accurate information on weather, traffic and emergencies.
The station, which will broadcast from a mobile trailer behind the public works yard on West Salem Avenue in the borough, is expected to be operational for the first time in May.
(edited some stuff here)
The station, which is yet to be licenced by the Federal Communications Commission, will most likely tuned to AM station 1630 and run on a continuous 7-second loop, Preiser said.
(edited some more stuff here)
The station will also broadcast the latest weather information courtesy of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

I guess those weather and traffic reports will be
pretty brief - 7 seconds huh ?

"Partly Sunny today - high 77 - lotsa cars on the causeway,
weather again in 7 on LBI 1630"

Try doing the intro, entire forecast and outro in 24 seconds. I've done it efore. I've also had 2 full minutes to do weather and traffic.

Believe me I WILL! NOTHING on that station is of ANY interest to me with the exception of Frank Thomas! THAT is broadcasting at it's very BEST! Just "Stick" to thumbing through the LINER CARDS and your "Boring and Bland" presentation there Buddy!

Believe me if I could eliminiate 101.5 from popping up as my radio scans...I would GLADLY do so!

Good Day Sir!
