I was flipping through the dial and noticed that Law & Order was in HD and then Seinfeld. I figured when Channel 46 took over operations of channel 17 that HD outside of Braves broadcasts would come.

Merideth operates several stations here in atlanta so it should have easy to add 17

Are there any other major changes on-air? Or does it pretty much look the same? I've noticed Turner's no longer really updating the Peachtree TV website.

Sounds like there's a new voiceover guy and "Family Guy" and "The Office" swapped the 6 and 7pm timeslots. Those are my astute observations.

This. Plus some cross promotion with WGCL. Also, some cosmetic changes that most people won't notice (no lower third snipes, no squeeze back credits).

I noticed this morning that Peachtree showed the scrolling, beeping weather warning thing for the thunderstorm watch. I believe this is new with Meredith as well. I don't recall ever seeing any kind of weather alert there before.

They always did a half screen of weather and radar at the top of the hour.

Besides the squeeze back with weather radar, forecast and traffic, the only crawl they would show for severe weather was what was provided by the EAS/NWS.

The radar/forecast/traffic squeeze has been discontinued. Right now the only weather information is from the EAS. This may or may not change in the future.

I have noticed the missing radar squeezes as well. What is the business direction with the Meredith partnership? WPCH has expanded their cable coverage in Canada and recently returned to the cable lineup on Videotron systems in Quebec. The channel is quite popular here in Canada but not as much as the TBS simulcast was.
