1710?

Since this is technically beyond the AM band, there are no licensed commercial stations anywhere, but there are some TISes and Part 15 projects out there I'm sure.

Has anyone DXed anything interesting?

I still get my local TIS station WQFG689 Jersey City, NJ. It had operated under an Special Temporary Authorization (STA) at 100 watts from 2020 until 2023. However, it's back to 10 watts with a faint signal from about 10 miles away from me.

Just to be clear, 1710 kHz is outside of the 100 mW FCC Part 15 allowance -- that only extends up to 1705 kHz, including sidebands, so even 1700 kHz would limit you to 5 kHz audio bandwidth to be legal.

So any unlicensed stations on 1710 aren't "Part 15"; they're pirates.
