19 & 43 Power Increase and Antenna Move

I presume that the signal of WTCL-LD is also not up to full strength.
WTCL-LD is on a separate antenna and transmitter. It should not be affected unless a tower crew is up working near the antenna, which requires the transmitter to either be at reduced power or turned off to protect the workers.

It has been reported that WOIO's new antenna is defective, creating a severely altered and out of limits pattern. Parts to fix the antenna will not be available until November.

They've been back on their original tower and broadcast for the last couple of weeks.
I still get periodic reception issues with WOIO. Does anyone know if their antenna issue has been resolved? I am a little hesitant to fiddle with my antenna's position till I find out.

I checked earlier today. They appear to still be on their former transmitter.

Two days ago my signal strenght for WOIO has gone up dramatically. They likely are using their new antenna and trnsmitter.
Depending on location, I've noticed that colder weather causes some of my weaker signals to go up so I would wait a few days until it warms up and then see if your levels are the same.

Ironically, it is actually weaker for me right now, down from the usual 31-32 dB to 29 dB SNR. I'll have to check again later on, as it could be minor interference from another station on the same frequency.

I noticed WTCL-LD was off the air the other day, so I was wondering if work was being done on the tower.

I've been wondering if they have to take the entire antenna off the tower like they did in June.

I live close enough that I would see or hear that, and so far...Nothing.

Well, I don't know what's going on, but WOIO, WUAB and WTCL-LD are all broadcasting dead air.

WOIO now shows a SNR of 35-36 dB, so it looks like they are back on their new antenna.
