19 years ago today....

Ted Turner presented the first of his colorized films, Yankee Doodle Dandy, on WTBS-TV. Thus creating various bickering among fans of classic cinema and animation. Thanks, Ted.

Colorized films... Ick.

I think the issue was less about cinematic purity and more about the low quality of the colorization.
