1953 WEWS-TV Cleveland Documentary.."Right Before Your Eyes"

Longtime WEWS-TV 5 Cleveland Film Archivist Tom Livingston has a place on the station website (www.newsnet5.com) in which he digs out vintage Channel 5 material, posts and does writeups on them..It is called the "Video Vault". The latest edition, posted today (65th anniversary of WEWS sign-on) has a 20-minute documentary called "Right Before Your Eyes"..Produced and aired in October 1953..It is a history of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio TV to that point..Stories of higher power for the VHF stations already on, coverage of other UHF stations on the air or in the planning stages..some which never did sign on..I thought our group might enjoy this..
