tv 5 gets bloody. donna davis. bill lunn. o-u-t. 15 total gone. right before holidays.
 
We all understand the timing of such lay-offs; they have been the rule in radio for years. While the timing is certainly cold (no pun intended), it is designed to get employees off the books before the New Year.

Hopefully, these folks got fair severance packages. And, unlike radio, there are still jobs available for talented folks in the TV business. Hopefully, these folks will find such a job.

I still have a few behind the scenes friends there in more than one department. Too bad.

Yet another time for me to be thankful I got out when I did.
