We just remember that WIRK was on 1290, not 1230!

When I was at XTRA the #1 station in Tijuana was Top 40 KCBQ. Several stations tried to get Arbitron to consider San Diego/Tijuana a single market. As I recall, it would have become the #4 or #5 market.

Needless to say, there was opposition.

Armand's Sound Odessey, at the Cherry Hill Mall? Remember it well! Long gone now, of course. And yes, WABC was, a solid signal day/night in South Jersey, and was found on many car radio presets along with WIBG and WFIL/
 
I also use to visit Nathan's for a frank and fries. There was some pretty good pizza there too.
