1978 Aircheck when 93KHJ became Position 93

The amazing part is Charlie Tuna and Bobby Ocean both worked the Drake format and sounded conversational and entertaining. Here they are told to read the script, though they did let a little ad-libbing slip through once in a while. Somewhere on the internet is an interview with Charlie Tuna talking about "Position 93". He says it was depressing and couldn't wait to get out of there.

For what it was worth, a little over a year after that composite a new PD dumped the "we're going to be just like AOR on AM" presentation and returned KHJ to the basics; but it was too late.
