What's up? It's Brian Soscia, I do nights at My1061. Hope everyone is doing well. As some of you may be aware, for the entire month of April My106.1 has been doing "Awesome 80's" weekends. To go along with the 80's theme I'm thinking about putting together a 1980's radio photo gallery to put up on my page. I think it's a cool idea for people who are not only extremely into radio, but also the casual listener. It will be a fun way to stir up some positive memories for everyone. I'm looking for anything that you'd like to submit. I'm not sure how many pictures I'll get and/or what I'll be able to use, but I'm looking for anything and everything at this point.

Well I don't really have anything to share, but I would suggest you include your own station, which was eagle 106, electric 106, z106, & top 106 during the 80's. Although only eagle106 was successful, so you might wanna only stick to that.

Fast forward to 1989 and the great CHR war began between Eagle and Q102. Now there was an era in radio!

Ok, include the "Electirc 106...weather mix!" jingle. Infact, that name kinda suits the station now. Alot better then my1061. So suggest to your bosses the name change, and bring back the "Electirc 106...weather mix!" jingle for good. Yeah, if Sunny was able to return, why not electirc?
