For what it's worth this is in next weeks TV Guide magazine. Forget the lottery
let's all just head for Hollywood.

The son only said "Hello Dad" in the Sept. 26 episode, but got paid $300,000.
KA CHING
It's an average. He's said a lot more since. I won't say he deserves every penny, but if this is what it takes ...

He's still a valuable part of this show.

I'm always reluctant to watch because I'm afraid of finding out it's not that good anymore. That means I end up watching a marathon on my TiVo. Last night I saw five episodes in a row. And Jake was brilliant. That is, amazingly dense. Brilliantly written and well played.

Or worse, he could be confined to opining on message boards. ;)

Zing!

Wasn't there a law passed many years ago named after the late actor Jackie Coogan that stipulated the parents of child actors had to put away a certain percentage of the money child actors earned until they were of age to legally collect it?

Coogan (who played Uncle Fester on the TV show The Addams Family) was a silent screen actor who earned millions as a kid actor.
When he became an adult he discovered that his parents spent all the money he earned. Thus came about the Jackie Coogan law.

So if parents of some of the child actors mentioned on here were spending their kids money, then aren't they breaking the law?

There was one episode recently where not only did Angus say just two words but he was offscreen when he was heard saying them.

He's still a valuable part of the show and I appreciate his willingness to look like a moron.
