Does anybody know if at any point that any Chicago radio station has done what WGN Radio is doing and also has done in the past of where they have a host or hosts do 2 separate 2 hour time slots both in the morning and in the afternoon. WGN Radio is currently doing it, and they also did it in the past where currently Bill & Wendy to two separate time slots of two hours a piece, and they get a `1 hour break in between. Where they host the first part of their show from 10:00-Noon and the second part of their show from 1:00-3:00 P.M. While they get the Noon hour off, for either a lunch break if they choose to or just relax for the hour until it is time for them to resume the show. And in between they have Steve Bertrand or whomever that is filling in for him, do the Wintrust Business Lunch. So I bet you that if you like to listen to their show on podcast, I bet you in less you listened while they were live on the air, you would have no idea as to when when part 1 ends and part 2 begins. As I would bet that both cross talks along with the news and commercials are edited out of the podcast. Also in the past they had Mike McConnell host his show for 2 separate 2 hours slots, and Carol Roth would come in and host the Noon Show. And of course that all ended with Carol Roth's Noon Show being canceled, and course eventually Mike McConnell also left WGN Radio as well. But does anybody know if any other radio stations have done this, or has it just been a WGN Radio thing?
