2 Cable Providers In New London, NH?

I noticed that New London, NH has not 1, but 2 Cable TV providers in the area which are TDS Telecom Of Warner, NH and of course Comcast Of Claremont, NH. Even though New London IS Part Of The Boston-Manchester DMA, both of their lineups are both different but most of them get Boston Stations plus a couple of Burlington ones in there as well: Here I shall give an example of what those 2 providers offer, starting with TDS Telecom:

2-WGBH Boston (PBS)
4-WBZ Boston (CBS)
5-WCVB Boston (ABC)
6-WLVI Boston (CW)
7-WHDH Boston (NBC)
9-WMUR Manchester (ABC)
10-WBIN Derry (IND)
11-WENH Durham (PBS)
12-WSBK Boston (MNTV)
17-WNNE Hartford (NBC)
19-WVTA Windsor (PBS)
21-WPXG Concord (ION)
22-WNEU Merrimack (TEL)
25-WFXT Boston (FOX)

Now For Comcast:

2-WVTA Windsor (PBS)
3-WCAX Burlington (CBS)
4-WBZ Boston (CBS)
5-WCVB Boston (ABC)
7-WHDH Boston (NBC)
9-WMUR Manchester (ABC)
11-WEKW Keene (PBS)
12-WFFF Burlington (FOX)
13-WNNE Hartford (NBC)
14-WBIN Derry (IND)
16-WSBK Boston (MNTV)
17-WPXG Concord (ION)
20-WVBK Bennington (IND)
22-WVNY Burlington (ABC)

Both of them have pretty much Boston TV Stations with the exceptions of WGBH, WFXT, and WLVI not on Comcast's lineup, I say they both look similar, but what does New London Cable TV viewers mostly get for the entire area including downtown? TDS Telecom Or Comcast? Leave me a comment if anyone can come up with what Cable TV Service they really get In New London, NH, Thanks!

Hmm ... I noticed that TDS Telecom doesn't offer any digital cable channels whatsoever, which isn't surprising since it's a rural area. Though it's possible that either the area has 2 cable providers to choose from (it's common in densely populated areas and suburban areas, not rural areas like NH, though), or something very similar with what happened in Waterville Valley. TDS Telecom could have been bought out by Comcast, and that lineup that you're seeing there is just very old. I know this from going on Zap2it. Though if New London is in the Boston-Manchester DMA, you'd think they'd primarily get Boston stations, not Burlington stations.

Well Comcast hasn't bought TDS at least just yet, but maybe in the near future things could get a little bit mixed up though. But if it's part of the Boston-Manchester DMA, then TDS would be the best choice because they would get all the Boston TV Stations in there which include channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 25, 38 and 56, while Comcast would only get channels 4, 5, 7 and 38 on their lineup.

Yes, but also note that the TDS lineup is very, very basic. They don't offer digital cable, high definition, or anything at all. That's why people would rather go with Comcast if they had a choice.
