2 game shows cancelled

Are you smarter than a fifth grader? and Don't Forget The Lyrics! have been cancelled as of four days ago. So what will My Network TV air on Tuesday nights? And while I'm at it, what will My Network TV air on Mondays? Here are some ideas:

1. How about SVU on Monday nights? (This has been rumored.)

2. Instead of game shows necessarily, how about repeats of Fox's "Animation Domination" schedule? I think the "programming service" would benefit greatly with classic repeats of The Simpsons.

3. Tuesday nights have always aired game shows concurrent with syndication and cable. How about a My Network TV exclusive?

4. Whatever unaired pilots Fox doesn't want could be first-run on My Network TV.

5. How about starting a Saturday morning block? That way local stations won't have to search so hard for EI programming. I'm sure there are companies available for deals.

Well, these are the ideas I have for My Network TV. Does anyone else have any other great ideas?

A night of sci-fi/fantasy shows. How about back-to-back episodes of The X-Files or perhaps Eureka (since MyNet repurposes USA's Burn Notice)?

THANK GOD. You had to be a 5th grader to enjoy those horrid game shows......guess it just
took about 5 years for everybody to figure that out.

So, in other words, Gregg, are you saying that the American viewing public has been "held back"? ::)

Those 2 Game Shows are on in the Day showing new shows not repeats.
How about remakes of Full House,Brady Bunch,Home Improvement and so on?
A new ER or so on?
Bingo America,Hollywood Squares,Wipeout and so on.

Here's my question: How come we only see USA Network's promos on My Network TV during Burn Notice repeats and not on Criminal Intent or Monk? Of course, Monk has ceased production, but USA can air their CI promos on Monday night repeats...

"How about remakes of Full House, Brady Bunch, Home Improvement and so on?"

Of course, what you really meant to say was, "how about re-running the original episodes of Full House, The Brady Bunch, Home Improvement and so on".

Next to unscripted ("reality") shows, remakes are one of the most annoying things I hate in movies and television. As with unscripted programming, remakes are indicative of inactive imaginations (see the recent nightmares "Hawai'i Five O" and "Knight Rider"); that nobody is capable of coming up with any original shows. Either come up with something new, hard as that may be to accomplish, or re-run the old shows.

No I meaning we have had Brandy Bunch Movies with new people or like Hawaii five 0 remake and it's a hit on CBS or Dallas movie so an Undated Brady Bunch TV Show with Long and Cole as the Parents or Full House with 3 Ladies and Boys and then a Man in the future to marry one of the Ladies. Home Improvement could bring back Richard Kahn as Al Born. Know for Growing Plains Kirk Cameron could be the Father.

Knowing MY Network, they'll most likely keep running old reruns of those gameshows until the fall.

My Network isn't even much of a network anymore; it seems pointless for News Corp to keep this thing going when even Univision is beating the pants off of them in the Nielsens.

I'd miss "Don't Forget the Lyrics", though this doesn't affect the daily syndicated version. Though I would like to have time to watch "I Dream of Jeannie" on WGN.

I'd like another night of "Monk".

I would have watched "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader" but when it started I didn't have time. I don't have time now.
