ABC is going to air "David Blaine: Drowned Alive" on Monday night 5/8 from 8-10 ET. But what some don't realize is that the stunt he will try to pull off is holding his breath for 9 minutes underwater. I also heard that he will have oxygen capsules in his mouth providing him with some air, so it's not even a true feat to accomplish. Do we really need a 2-hour special for this?

Perfect match for ABC - Blaine failed
According to Fox News (do you think I'd actually watch this waste of the airwaves?) divers had to pull Blaine from the tank after 7:08.Let's see: how many metaphors for ABC can we pull from this disaster?1. Blaine went in the tank.2. Blaine found himself handcuffed.3. Blaine failed to do as he had hoped.4. Outside help was required to rescue Blaine.5. It was to bad ABC had to use Scott from ESPN to host this two hour special. If it is going to be on ABC use someone from ABC. Couldn't ABC at least used someone from ABC say maybe Regis or maybe Gibson. I only say the part where he was in the tank which he didn't even do what a waste. Glad to see NBC, CBS, and FOX didn't want to air something like this. But I thought this is a type of thing FOX would air but they at least they aired better speicals such as evil jump the Grand Canyon and some pyamid speical LIVE from Egypt. We may see more of these speicals on Monday's during the fall and winter from on ABC as they won't have Monday Night Football this fall.

it didn't do great in the ratings....behind everybody but the usual bottom feeders (UPN/WB), it probably would have done better (or atleast claimed 1st or 2nd in its time slot) if it was aired on one of Fox's weak nights (Something other than Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)Phillip Dampier said:
