2 new logs in the past 24 hours! 9/18 9/19/14

Late last night and then early this morning I got another two stations into the log!

9/18
1230 - CJNL Merritt, BC; sports talk show mentioning 49ers, Broncos and Seahawks etc. which sounded low budget (I thought it was one of those really cheap Sports Byline USA or Yahoo stations, maybe KHSN), but then Canadian mentions and an ad for a concert in Kamloops with a whole bunch of sponsors sealed the deal for CJNL, at 2238 PT 9/18. NEW #614, 1KW, 243 miles. Now it's 1230 #13.

9/19
830 - KFLT Tucson, AZ; heard at 0605 PT 9/19 with Christian contemporary song and TOH ID mentioning KFLR-FM in Phoenix and a whole plethora of other stations. NEW #615, 50KW, 1,097 miles. Most propagation toward AZ and NM and CO is gone by now but this still slipped in.

I think I logged KFLT one evening when they were on day power.

Last night was sort of mediocre here at my QTH. Sort of like a poor summer evening. At first I thought it was my radio but every radio was about the same.
