2 st. Clair West (former Virgin, CFRB location)

In March 2014 Virgin radio and CFRB move into the Much Music building in downtown Toronto.
Boom 97.3 is up for sale, so it gets left behind.
Flow is most likely moving in with Boom.
The missing information is who will own Boom and Flow.
Will they stay at 2 St. Clair West? or will they move for cheaper rent or whatever?

Time will tell, I suppose!

Yeah. This is what media consolidation can be expected to cause. Obviously it makes more logistical sense to house everything that a given owner owns under one roof. The company that Boom 97.3 and Flow 93.5 is spun off to would have to not only have the means to acquire and maintain the stations, but also not exceed ownership limits, which renders Rogers a non-candidate. Questions will surely be answered in due time, as compliance with ownership limits is serious.

Well now we know it's official that Flow and Boom will be in the hands of NewCap radio.
It will soon be interesting to see if NewCap chooses to stay in the "boom" building or relocate.
Rent might be cheaper in other parts of town.
The listener might not even care where (In Toronto) the radio station is located anyway...

If they move, that would be about 50 years of radio history in the books! It may not be as famous as 1331 Yonge, but it would feel different (at least for me) that 2 St. Clair won't be home of a radio station.

2 St Clair will be the home of Flow and Boom, run by Newcap. (finishing off a lease?)
It's just the Bell stations leaving, and it was their choice to leave, not Newcap's.
