2 weeks with the new Mojo

I want to know what everyone thinks of the new MOJO after hearing it for the past 2 weeks. I like the new MOJO not the same old song being played over and over. I like that they are playing artists I have forgot about like keith Sweat. I still think this was a need format Urban AC. Since Mojo went to 100.3 its on all the time at work. I like how it has something for every one. Not the same old Bee Gees song that can be heard on 3 other sations bujt artisa we have forgot about in the classic R&B and Soul format.

I like it too, though I'm really not anywhere near their target demo. I wonder how effective it will be in reaching that traget. As always, time will tell.

The New MOJO would sound better if it was like the old WBLZ 103.5. I like the 80's and 90's R&B but not a fan of the slow stuff.

Ooopsie... I made a mistake. I *meant* to say MOGO was better THAN MOJO. Don't you hate it when that happens and then somebody else comes along and corrects you?

I agree with len14043. "MOGO" was better that MOJO.

So Mojo's started their jocks this week. I have to admit that I haven't listened long enough to hear even one break yet, but I'm curious to see if anyone else has, and what they think so far.

Also, slightly off topic, I find it pretty sad that Radio One has not added their new Cincinnati property to their corporate website.

My bus driver puts on the new Mojo in the morning and I noticed that Tom Joyner started recently as well. I didn't hear much of the station because I immediately put my iPod on when I get on the bus. I can't stand the music they play on that station, it's awful.

One weird thing I found out last year. This is kind of off topic but please forgive me. I asked my bus driver what radio stations she was allowed to play. She told me that they're allowed to play the Wiz but not WEBN. Does that make any sense at all? I think that if they were allowed to play the Wiz they should be able to play WEBN. To me it seems like the Wiz is more inappropriate than 'EBN sometimes.

all and all, I am not real impressed, and the quality of the station is typical r1...

i think they should have left it as it was, i suspect they will lose money in the long run

Did any of the Jock from Mojo 94.9 head over to Mojo 100.3? Has anyone heard about any of the old Mojo Jock's??? Are they all on a Cumulus paid vacation until the new station starts?

Faith Daniels the weekend jock from Mojo 94.9 is now doing 10am-3pm weekdays on the new MOJO 100.3

I thought she Faith Daniels a network news anchor. Or a country singer?

I have to say that Tom Joyner is colossally boring in the morning. It was rather painful to listen to for a morning show. Didn't manage to catch Faith today, but I know her and expect it will be Good Stuff™. Philip Marshall was on point for the time I spent listening this afternoon. Since I don't care for the music, I have a hard time listening unless they're talking.

Who's doing evenings?
