Randy "Wrong" killed Rock 104. Flipped over to 103.7 earlier today for a quick check...yep.... Still crap. :mad: I will say, it doesn't seem like that long ago.
 
I think, and this is JMHO, that a true alternative with a playlist similar to KSLG: http://kslg.com/ would do well in Gainesville on 103.7. But I guess if they're doing OK, competing against several other country outlets, there may not be a flip in the near future.
 
Is it really that much easier to sell Country in a (the only real) Florida college town? I just can't see why advertisers wouldn't flock to Rock in Gainesville.
 
I'm actually surprised that this seemed to work. 93.7 and 102.3 have been doing well with country for years, and I figured UF would be flipping it again, but so far they're staying with it. Will country on 103.7 last as long as rock did? It would really surprise me if it did.
