20/20: The Top 20 After 20 Years

Lots of interesting comments: No AMs in the Top 20, for example.

Some new formats that didn't exist 20 years ago (Adult Hits, Classic Hits). Mega is Top 10. More Urban.

Classic Hits is just a rename for "oldies". As the 60's and 70's "oldies" format acquired a real stigma in the sales area, the format was renamed even though in most cases the major oldies stations had already updated the library with each music test.

You're right about the music, but the presentation has also been scaled back a bit from what it was as Oldies.
