20 ON 20

i think all three can co-exist quite nicely. 20 on 20 is different then Serious Hits 1. There are so many ways to present a format. This is what i've learnred from having both services as well as AM/FM radio.

Keep in mind that, not too long ago, 20 on 20 was the most listened to channel on satellite radio. In that sense, it's a better CHR than Sirius Hits 1. However, Sirius Hits 1 does quite well, too, and it's apparently been a good way for Sirius to both build brand equity and get access to the hottest stars.

Sirius has stars but their programming sucks. I bet 20 on 20 would bring the most listeners. Especially if 20 on 20 had constant contests and such. They can put DJ's on 20 on 20.... carry some over to introduce the songs and countdowns.

They're both 2 of the most popular stations with satellite radio so I see both of them remaining as part of the lineup, even after all the channels are merged.
Sirius Hits 1 is more Rock friendly, and possibly more male and adult friendly.
XM's 20 on 20 is very interactive, current based, and youth friendly.

It'll be interesting to see what they'll end up doing with Kiss XM though.

Kiss 21 won't be going anywhere until Clear Channel says so. As I understand, Clear Channel has the rights to that bandwidth until they say otherwise, and, even though the XM channels don't make a lot for the company, they do make money. My magic 8 ball says all signs point to that arrangement continuing for a long time!

Kiss XM actually isn't that bad IMHO. 20 on 20 is decent but the new Pop 2K seems rather interesting. However, I love BBC 1. Now that is a great pop station!

I don't believe Kiss 21 streams. I also don't think the other Clear Channel XM stations stream unless you can find them at iheartmusic.com. So, your only real option is probably going to be to get an XM radio and, probably, a subscription.

It's not jockless. It has jocks from 8 AM to 2 AM. However, none of them are live.

Kiss, Nashville!, Mix, Pink and Rock@Random were briefly on iheartmusic and were available on the iHeartRadio iPhone app. I don't think they are anymore.

i'm downloading it too - i don't even have this as a pre-select on my radio (yet... ;))
