20 ON 20

FWIW, KISS XM 21 is a very dance friendly CHR, at least compared to many on FM.
They have played Lasgo, Cascada, and other CHR-friendly dance acts.
And, although this doesn't seem to "fit" given their heavy emphasis on hip-hop, KISS XM also plays the "dance mix" versions of many of the pop hits they play. In some cases, they have never played the "mainstream" version of a song but only the "dance" version.

The best way to enjoy KISS XM is to record it on an XM radio, then you can skip the commercials, plus skip any songs that don't suit you.

(Plus, it's encoded at a superior 48k bitrate, better than 90% of other XM channels, if not 95%.)

I like airchecks, so if I record, I record to save. XM Kiss isn't for me... I like Dance CHR, but Kiss isn't that. Is t there such a format as Dance/Rhythmic? lol. This is different then Rhythmic AC.

I think Kiss XM does fit into the "CHR/Rhythmic" format, just with a Dance lean (but not enough of one to take it out of format).

The "mainstream" CHR/Rhythmic on XM is The Heat XM 68 / Sirius 50.

hey what do you know, a two hour aircheck of my shift on KISS XM !

To clarify for everyone, KISS XM is both the top POP hits and the top RHYTHMIC hits on one channel. There is no real lean either way.
Dance remixes of pop songs regularly pop up, usually once they've burned their regular version.

I like it a lot. They're a lot more rhythmic-leaning than most KISS FM's. I heard Pleasure P-- a big Urban single. Ludacris's One More Drink.... gaining on pop though.

And yes, the dance remixes of the pop songs. Personally I love it. The jocks are fun too. I didn't hear anyone give out a number though.
