Anyone notice that 12 News now refers to "200 East Van Buren" in their new intros, rather than 200 EVB?

That said, I really think 12 News has gone way downhill. Joe and Syleste really don't add much to the morning show. EVB Live is primarily fluff. 12 News at 6 and 10pm have really lost their appeal (IMO, Caribe is better than Jimmy Q). They blew up the news and made it worse -- how do the executives keep their jobs???
 
You mean nobody started calling a sidewalk "EVB" while traipsing down to "Copper Square"? Lawdy, when will marketers learn that nicknames never work when they're forced on someone?

It's kinda like when Greg Shulte started with the D-backs and everyone asked him what his home run call would be. He should have just waited to see what popped out of his mouth the first time rather than trying to contrive something that he's stuck with (and doesn't always use, anyway).

..."A long drive... warning track, wall, and you can touch 'em all! That one flew over Copper Square and got stuck in Mark Curtis porn-star 'stache right there at 200 EVB!!!"

Ick.
