2006 CHANGES: THE BAD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

So can anyone name one change in Providence radio this year that was for the good? Maybe Giammarco taking over the reins at WPRO? I can't comment on Barber as I could care less about talk radio. Any others either from the point of view of personal taste or as a business decision. No never mind the business decisions. Go with personal taste or this will get boring and everyone will feel like they're at work trying to keep a straight face.

Rumor has it that many radio stations are now using Charmin toilet paper, which is a good idea! because when ur [EDIT] on the job u need something that will wipe fast and hurt less! So I applaude this new chage!

...anyone else???

Who kneeds to wipe fast anyway? No one's live or local half the time anyway.

The Violet and Bart firings. Bad the way it ended, but good for radio in general.

This has been an awful year in terms of changes, especially those that happened in the last 2 months. I guess Tad Lemire ending up back on the air at Coast was a good thing but it happened as a result of bad things at both WCTK & Coast so my "who to wake up to" quandry continues.

One good thing is that The Bridge is now local in the morning with Art Berlutti so the Bob & Sheri thing was (thankfully) a brief blip in area radio history.

Art Berlutti is awsome. He gave me my first radio job. I love that guy!

John you're worrying me with these warm fuzzy moments. I think you need to go out & rough up a Salvation Army bell ringer to get back in the spirit.
