2007 Predictions.....

We are getting to that time of year again, another year behind us another one ahead for us, does anyone want to make any predictions about the upcoming year in local broadcasting? Any changes that should be made or have to be made? I am curious as to what everyone thinks, lets be adults here and not take the time to bash people on the bored as we normally do, I'm guilty there to.

Must be something in the air, nope just the holiday season thats all!!! So give out your thoughts and have a great rest of the year to everyone and have a good holiday.

I guess Hudson Valley and Poughkeepsie would go Rhythmic AC if "The Wolf " fails. That is what was missing in that market where the former "Rhythm 94.3" was when it flipped to oldies five years ago.

WBPM needs more local jocks. Instead of Rick McCaffery doing mornings, why not bring Harry Harrison from WCBS-FM, maybe he will be syndicating his Morning Mayor show soon or if not, bring in another morning talent or a syndicated morning show. That'll work. Add some more midday and afternoon talent. Leave Tony Flash alone and bring in Mike Donale and a few others from the former "Oldies 97.7". That'll work. Will see if Cheap Channel gets out, Pamal will come in.

What's wrong with McCaffery?

Harry Harrison won't be coming to WBPM! Not by a long shot!
