well...what will the new year bring to the Binghamton market?

if its the same as the last couple decades... expect the status quo and a lot of bickering! :(

I would think that the expected sale of the Binghamton stations by Clear Channel would bring some changes to the market. Maybe, just maybe, a new owner will recognize the damage that Clear Channel has done to radio as an industry and will opt for programming tailored to the Binghamton market, with more live and local presence to entice listeners away from their iPods and Internet streams.

This Board has truly become as dead as Binghamton radio. The entire market here has too many has-beens, "in touch" with some world that has long died.

Weekdays are bad and weekends are more than bad. Was back for a few weekends and "news" (radio or TV) was nonexistent.

Perhaps it's time to admit that the good days of radio have left the Bingo Scene.
