What should be noted with the Billboard Chart is that it only counts airplay when the record is in the Top 25 most played. Once it falls off the chart the plays no longer count. So while it's a good indication of what were amongst the most played records, the order of those records could be very different if you counted all the plays for the year.

I do believe that Ida Corr would still be the most played for the year. FMQB uses all the plays for the year and that, to me, would be a better chart to look at for accuracy.

How is September and D Guetta "Love Is Gone" not on the list...and how is "Calabria" so low? I also Didn't realize "anthem" Filo and Perry was such a big hit.
 
That would be because both of those songs, Cry for You and Love is Gone, would be considered recurrents at Dance even though they were new music at CHR.

Not sure how long Enur lasted on the dance chart but I believe it had a much longer run at CHR than it did at Dance.
