2010 Fall Preview: KNBC and KTLA

The new fall schedules have been released for KNBC and KTLA. NBC 4 is pretty much starting from scratch with their non-network daytime hours. KTLA is swapping "According to Jim" with "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" from Disney, as well as picking up two HBO shows for late-night. These additions knocks out the last hour of "Paid Programming" the station had durning the week.

At NBC 4. the new "Access Hollywood Live" follows "The Today Show" at 11am; "The Daily Connection" and the replay of "Extra" move to the Noon hour; Following "Days of our Lives" at 1pm, the newest Oprah spin-off, "The Nate Burkus Show" replaced Martha Stewart at 2pm. "The Real Housewives of..." (It starts with the Orange County series, and moves on from there) replaces the cancelled Bonnie Hunt at 3pm. "Ellen" still leads into the news at 4pm.

KTLA shakes their schedule up just abit, starting at Noon; The 1st run of "Maury" moves to 2pm, being replaced in the noon hour with the new season of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". The Newscasts and 1 and 6 pm get renewed for the season. It looks as if the CW network is going to be re-running Tyra Banks from 3-5 pm. This may yet change. The 1st "Family Guy" run replaces "According to Jim" at 5pm, and. "Friends" will now air at 5:30. On the revised late- night lineup, " Friends" still airs at 11pm, "Entourage" airs at 11:30, followed by "Curb Your Enthusiasm" at Midnight. "Family Guy" and "Star Trek:The Next Generation" remain where they are at 12:30am, and 1am; Both the second runs of "Maury" and " Jerry Springer" air at 2 and 3am, respectively. At the moment, 4-4:30am is listed as TBA

The other stations should be presenting their full fall line-ups very soon.

They moved Star Trek the Next Generation to 3AM this week... only a temporary move while they move things around?

Not that I can see. As it stands now, both 2nd runs for Maury and Jerry Springer have been dropped; 2-3am remains Paid Programming, and the new sitcom on the KTLA block, " The New Adventures of Old Christine" gets a weekday timeslot of 1:30AM!!! (A more normal 5-6pm timeslot on Saturdays)
