My predictions/hopes for 2010

New Orleans - Citadel sells out to a real operator who will give us some real options.

WIST lasts 6 months as a Fox Sports Station. Eric Asher chokes on a piece of grissle at Dickie Brennan's. He dies when Kaare Johnson performs mouth-to-mouth instead of the heimlich manuever.

WRNO is investigated by Jim Letten after John Osterlind and Michael Castner's blackmail photos of Dick Lewis are released to TMZ. Both are immediately fired. Reruns of Rush air in AM Drive and Levin moves into PM Drive.

They turn the lights off at WGSO leaving us with just WRNO and WWL as the only options for talk radio. How will we be able to cope without our 4 hours daily of Jeff Crouere and the Ringside Allstar Mitch Gibbs?


Baton Rouge - Citadel sells out to a real operator who will give us some real options.


Lafayette - Citadel and Regent are both forced to sell their clusters to reduce debt. Regent's Peoria cluster employees dance in the streets after their jobs are saved due to the Lafayette sell-off.

New Orleans ....The number of CB radios surpasses conventional and satelite units due to predictions of another
Katrina....

Baton Rouge.... KLSU vaults to #1 after continuous airings of "Hold That Tiger" during the spring book.

Lafayette... KVOL is overrun by an angry mob for simulcasting a New Orleans morning show. Dr Pittman
scraps plans to require all contest winners to submit to drug tests.

Alexandria.. Radio disappears after 95% of the population moves to Alabama where it's still
legal to marry a family member.

Lake Charles Nation Guard assumes control of all signals when Jay Roberts aka JR announces his return.

Which begs the question: Does anyone know the whereabouts of J.R.? Last I heard, he was in Buffalo...had a medical problem....left the station and ????
