2012 Christmas Radio in Albany

With B95 beating WTRY in ratings last year for Christmas, anyone think it'll be B95 vs. 99.5 The River for Christmas in 2012? Both are about equal in signal, and it'd give WRVE an opportunity to tweak/rebrand if it needs it after Christmas (Mix 99.5 or My 99.5 anyone? ;))

I also don't see three CHRs lasting very long in Albany, between FLY, KISS (which has revamped and got a new logo BTW) and Pop Crush 105.7, will 102.3 bite the bullet and flip sometime in early 2013? KISS is at a signal disadvantage compared to the others, and 105.7 seems to be going after both FLY and B95...
 
I guess maybe the Hudson Valley will be the next stop to play Christmas music during the first half of November right up until Christmas Day. Maybe WRNQ's "Lite 92.1" will be on the horizon to go all Christmas, but I'm not sure if WHUD will go all Christmas next. Perhaps maybe on Christmas week from 12/17 through 12/25. I have no word on what stations to go all Christmas. Stay tuned.
