2012 Solar Event

This is starting to gear to be the big one for DXers out there. Who's planning to have field day parties? But here's the actual question, when will the MUF start going up?

Most experts predict that the current solar [sunspot] cycle [24] will peak somewhat less than previous cycles: http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/SolarCycle/ 90 is not 125, but 90 is a helluva lot better than zero!

I don't think we're going to see any increase in sunspots. Acccording to my Aztec calendar, the sunspots are going to stay
at a minumum level until late 2012, then the whole sun goes bang.

Wells sir, if the sun is out of the way, there should be some great extraterrestrial DX openings. I guess I'll invest in that Perseus SDR after all.
