2012 Texans on TV

2012 NFL schedule out today...barring any flex changes, CBS will have 11 games, NBC 2 games, ESPN 2 games, and FOX 1 game.

Five national games for the Texans (two Sunday night, two Monday night, plus Thanksgiving.)

Making some noise in the playoffs sure helps get the team on the national TV map.

The Bulls on Parade are making a trip out to Detroit for Thanksgiving. The Year 2012 is definitely The Year of The Bull. How 'bout Those Cowboys? Besides The Opening game in New Jersey against The Defending Super Bowl Champions NY Giants, Will The Cowboys be playing any other games in prime time?

The Cowboys will be playing four primetime games in 2012. Last year, by virtue of the final regular season game being "flexed" into NBC's "Sunday Night Football," they pulled off the rare feat of having six primetime games in a season, which is the maximum, per the league.

As for the Texans on Turkey and Tryptofan Day, with CBS getting the Lions' Thanksgiving game this year, it was a toss-up between the Texans and the Colts. All I'm saying is, the NFL must be thanking their lucky stars that the Texans were as good as they were last year, because I don't think a Colts team without Peyton Manning would draw much interest on Thanksgiving!

Austin loves the Cowboys! They pull amazing ratings here week after week, win or lose.

Well, I know for sure that San Antonio is also Cowboys Country, and The New Orleans Saints are represented in that city as well-Thanks to The Benson Family's Presence. The Cowboys will be playing The Redskins on Turkey Day; They'll be playing Da Bears on ESPN (10/1) in Prime Time & Atlanta on NBC. (11/4-Which happens to be on a Sunday Night) One additional Prime Time game against Philadelphia maybe flexible as The NFL's upcoming 2012-13 season progresses.
