2019 Post Christmas Format flip's list

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/182062/2019-post-christmas-format-change-watchlist/

Here are some of the stations that have announced flips after Christmas.

Albany GA – Pretoria Fields Collective Media will launch “Q102 The Queen Bee” WPFQ on January 6 on what is currently Country “102.1 Nash Icon” WNUQ Sylvester GA.

Green Bay WI – Educational Media Foundation will close on its purchase of 104.9 WPCK Denmark/Green Bay WI and flip the currently stunting “Christmas 104.9” to either Christian AC “K-Love” or Contemporary Worship “Air 1” on an unknown date.

Tyler/Longview TX – Educational Radio Foundation of East Texas will launch Spanish Christian “Fuzión“ on 102.3 KLJT Jacksonville and 103.1 KMPA Pittsburg TX and Christian Preaching “The Well” on 94.3 KZXM Bullard and 95.3 KFRO-FM Gilmer TX in January.

There are a couple of people on this site speculating on the future of Hot AC WMYI Greenville SC, which has done really poorly. I don't think it means anything, but the station changed its name from My 102.5 to Christmas 102.5 and made several other changes before going all-Christmas. One person thinks the station will pick up the HD-2 Soft AC Breeze format from another station.

Pretty sure I heard WMYI also sacked its airstaff with the change to Christmas. That would seem to indicate a format tweak or change on the horizon.

I’m also hearing a Grand Rapids early flipper will retain its pre-Christmas format but may emerge under a different name.
