21st Century Vintage Radio Studio

Very nice! Looks like you just stepped back into the past.

Wait, wait wait! The CD player on the right kinda gives it away!

Anyways, great looking studio! I had a Stereo 80 console for my high school station build but I needed to gain some counter room so I swapped ours out for a older UREI board.

The Sonifex recorder and the cd player are the items "out of date" :p
The "wish I could get" list contains another CB1201 and the mentioned ON AIR light.
I have a criterion 90 recorder (like this one but stereo http://www.oldradio.com/archives/hardware/Harris/Ct90.jpg) but, no matter what I do, I can't fix the motor noise (bearings already replaced) I had noise issues with the Criterion 90 on the picture wich were fixed easily by replacing motor bearings. Why it doesn't work on the recorder I can't understand.

let's see the original pic, before it was aged.

my only complaint would be there's not enough desk space to fill out the program log!!

and maybe you could swap out those speakers for a pair of JBL 4312 control monitors.

i dunno, you can't go wrong with jbl control monitors :)

i'm just ragging on ya. that studio looks awesome. about the program log, i've worked at stations that didn't leave enough room to fill out the log. it was a pain in the @$$.

Swap the turntables to the left and The ITC 3 decker to the right and it is the same studio we had at WKIZ Key West In 1989. (we had a different mic).
