22 SONGS IN A ROW, NOW ON EXITOS! HAHA

I was flipping through the radio today and I happened to land on 93.9 when I heard an interesting sweeper saying that they were now playing "22 Songs in a Row". I kept listening for a bit and it seems they're trying to cut down on the talk and start playing the music, similar to what Jack or its Spanish equal Jose is doing. But what they're doing is interesting compared to other stations that play continuous music. They played 3 songs in a row without any sweepers. After those 3 songs, I heard another sweeper about the "22 Songs in a Row". For the 20 mins I listened, JC Cuevas didn't talk, which was interesting because when I listen every once in a while to see how the station is doing, JC Cuevas is talking after every song! It also seems that he doesn't have very much to talk about. What exactly is going on at Exitos? Are they trying the "less talk, more pop" attitude? Or is the "22 Songs in a Row" promotion happening only during certain times in the day?

It might be only certain times of the day. A lot of stations have done similar music sweeps, and might do them once per daypart, or something along those lines. Do it just enough to brag about it.
