24/7 / MUSIC ON HARD DRIVE

Why is it there aren't any major 24/7 satdelivered formats for alt rock? Was talking to a guy in an unrated market who said alternative would make sense but they don't want to program a station entirely themselves (hmm...). Is there even a service that offers alternative music by hard drive or a similar service for stations who are more hands off?

(Edit: I'm aware Jones has a programming service, but their inventory is pretty high IIRC.)
