2nd Show at WILM to be simulcast on WDOV

I heard a promo Friday on WILM for Blace Blastovitz (sp) "Money and Politics in Delaware" talk show will also be airing on WDOV. So that makes the second show where WILM is being used as the "flag ship" station for their mini network covering Delaware, "Delaware This Morning" is the other program. I wonder why they've not made this move with John Watson's show? Maybe, when the contract for Glenn Beck ends at WDOV, the good people of Kent County will start hearing John Watson on WDOV. One issue might be that Watson isn't a conservative, but consider's himself to be a moderate leaning left (I'd label John generally liberal, other than his support for fighting terrorism), which might not play well in the lower counties that are generally more conservative.

This must be the next trend for Delaware broadcasting as Channel 12 has both a Wilmington and a Dover news studio where both get active use during their Delaware Tonight Newscast. Of course all of channel 12's programming, including Delaware Tonight, is simulcast on channel 64 Seaford.

So I guess the next question would be when Delmarva Broadcasting will start using WDEL as their flagship and start simulcasting news/talk, etc via one of their downstate stations. I could see Delmarva similcasting Jensen's afternoon talk show to a downstate station (Rick is a conservative talker). Al Messetti's show probably wouldn't do as well, because he is very liberal and the two lower counties are Red County's where as New Castle County is a Blue County. It would be interesting to see the ratings results for Messetti's show vs Watson's as both are liberals, their talk show styles are different, but both generally favor left wing policies.
