Immacaulate Heart Radio will commence their network/local programming on KCEO sometime in the afternoon
of March 7th, after a ceremonial Mass at a local church. This will increase their California stations to 12.

San Diego’s Catholic Radio Gets Permission to Upgrade
by Scott on August 23, 2012
OCEANSIDE — The Oceanside Planning Commission unanimously approved a permit on August 13, for a additional radio tower for KCEO, AM 1000 and a doubling of its broadcast power. The station became part of the Immaculate Heart Radio network in March, and has been broadcasting 24-hour-per-day Catholic programming since.
Construction on the 4th tower underway.Currently operating at an unknown lower power. NCBC(former owner)intends to
complete the modifications on or befors Oct. 22nd.If achieved, NCBC earns a $250,000 bonus.
Interesting. The xmtr site for KCEO (formerly KMLO) is now in the middle of a nice, middle-class neighborhood. I'm surprised they were able to get a 4th tower approved without the residents pitching a humongous fit.
