WZZQ 102.9 played its last song. "The End" by The Doors. Followed by the message "This was WZZQ Jackson" and then white noise as the transmitter shut down. Many people were listening. I had my old portable shoe box cassette recorder with the patch cable plugged into the earphone jack and and old Certron blank tape. (the only blank one I had laying around on such short notice) I saw on facebook that WZZQ102.com will stream that last broadcast. Not sure of the time, but I assume it will be sunday near midnight.
