After 53 years, WSGN-AM was no more. At just after midnight, the station signed off for good after playing Glenn Miller's "In the Mood". Later that morning the station returned to the air as WZZK-AM, simulcasting the FM station for the next 13 years. In 1998 the station changed formats and became adult standards WEZN. Today, the station is urban gospel station WAGG.
