...and the Nichols School of Communication STILL refuses to turn the station over to the control of the students to serve as a "training station" for Radio/TV majors.

Give me a break. This is why UCF's Radio/TV majors struggle so much in this market vs. Full Sail, they do not have a 24/7 student-run radio station to train their kids at. Instead we get a bunch of over-the-hill jazz enthusiasts who refuse to do the right thing and give the station over to UCF students.

I was one of the few lucky ones, hustling a board-op job with the Magic Radio Network and then onto my current gig.

Rollins College has WPRK-FM 91.5. I'm volunteering on it now, but I was never a Rollins College student. Hustled to get my weekly show here myself. However, I got trained through CSB School of Broadcasting AFTER I got on this station. Ready to take it to a bigger signal here if given the chance.

Congrats, 'CBSBoardOp'. You're getting paid for less than what I'm doing for free. ;)
